For the actual exhibition 'Weltrettungsapotheke' (world saving pharmacy) there was need for some specific furniture. So, an old lightbox was converted into a display, showing more or less creepy things conserved in colored gelatin quite impressively.
Für die Weltrettungsapotheke sind diverse Einrichtungsgegenstände entstanden. So auch ein Leuchttisch der sich in ein Displayregal verwandelte um in Gelatine eingelegte Dinge im Stil einer sehr alten Apotheke mit mehr oder weniger unheimlichen Exponaten effektvoll auszustellen.
This installation is limited for the period of the exhibition. One can expect that the gelatin will disintegrate after this time. Right now the exhibits are changing their appearance. A part of the conserves are wine gum animals embedded in gelatin. Their colour and shape diffundates slowly into the surrounding media till it is no more recognizable. AN allegory for the impossibility to save things for eternity.
Diese Installation ist für den Zeitraum der Ausstellung beschränkt. Es ist zu erwarten das sich die Gelatine nach der Ausstellung zersetzt. Bereits jetzt kann verändern sich die darin ausgestellten Gegenstände: teilweise wurden Weingummitiere in das Medium eingebettet. Ihr Farbe und Form diffundiert sehr langsam in das umgebende Medium bis zur Unkenntlichkeit . Ein Sinnbild für die Unmöglichkeit, Dinge in die Ewigkeit zu retten.
